An expert corporate storyteller and internal communications strategist, Carrie has extensive global experience working across diverse industries, such as technology, consulting, consumer goods, publishing, telecommunications, cultural and luxury sectors. She passionately believes that effective internal communications must be centered on bridging the gap between business objectives and corporate culture to be successful.

With over 20 years leading internal communications functions at IBM, Lenovo, Disney, Christie’s and Dow Jones, Carrie has guided C-suite executives through key inflection points such as organizational, technological and cultural transformations, as well as in times of crisis.

Known for her creative, collaborative approach, Carrie is adept at developing inspiring executive and employee engagement strategies that reflect a company’s unique brand, culture, mission and strategic vision, and help drive tangible business results.

During her extensive career, she has also developed an affinity for supporting HR leadership with strategic and practical support across all facets of their initiatives, including recruitment, retention, benefits, employee experience / value proposition, values, CSR, DE&I and culture programs.

Most recently, at Dow Jones, during a period of high growth amidst the pandemic, she developed a comprehensive strategy designed to embed and advance a new corporate mission – driving greater engagement and connectivity by strengthening how employees viewed their value in the workplace and increasing their sense of belonging.

At Christie’s, Carrie led internal communications for several CEO transitions, culture and values initiatives, as well as technology transformations as the company launched a new digital commerce channel while adjusting to a dispersed workforce due to the pandemic.

When IBM’s PC business merged with Chinese-owned Lenovo, Carrie spearheaded innovative communications strategies that united employees from all over the world. These strategies drove the adoption of a new corporate mission, values and forged a new corporate culture, built on a foundation of appreciation, curiosity and respect.

A graduate of American University with a bachelor’s degree in Public Communications, Carrie has lived and worked abroad and is a fluent Spanish speaker.
