Hannah Arnold

Prior to becoming president, CEO and owner of The LAKPR Group, Hannah was a principal at LAK Public Relations, which she joined in 1999. 

A deeply experienced communications strategist, she spearheads creative and effective communications campaigns on behalf of a range of clients seeking to raise their profiles, manage high-stakes crises, navigate special situations and advance their agendas in periods of transition and change or challenging environments.  She has developed a particular niche working with middle market portfolio companies of major private equity firms, partnering with leaders and organizations at critical inflection points to deploy communications as a strategic lever to execute their plans and enhance and accelerate the path to value creation. 

Over the course of her career, Hannah’s clients also have included international law and professional services firms, Fortune 500 companies, consumer products manufacturers as well as scores of organizations facing complex issues including bankruptcies and restructurings, leadership transitions, regulatory or governmental investigations, complex litigations and other matters that may threaten their business operations. She has led the development of numerous internal and external communications programs, enabling organizations to shape perceptions of key stakeholders, protect their brands, enhance their market positions, preserve their reputations and achieve bottom line business objectives.

A passionate storyteller, content developer and writer, Hannah has worked with clients to create nearly every form of written communication, including op-ed pieces, contributed articles on a variety of business, financial and legal topics, white papers, speeches, press materials as well as web site content and marketing collateral. She has written on the importance of communications in the bankruptcy process for publications including the Bankruptcy Strategist and authored the historical introductions to The Twinkies Cookbook and The Wonder Bread Cookbook, books she conceived and that were published by Ten Speed Press. She has also spoken on crisis communications topics, including crisis strategies for in-house and outside legal counsel.

Earlier in her career she served as Press Secretary to New York State Senator Roy M. Goodman, the Senate Committee on Investigations, Taxation and Government Operations, and the Senate Special Committee on Arts and Cultural Affairs.
